About the event
Purpose The Rangmann project harnesses the power of doing theatre together to tackle a problem as complex as youth mental health. Teenage years and early adulthood come with big emotions and new challenges for young people and their families. Multicultural communities (such as the Australian-Indian community) face unique barriers to feeling supported in their mental health. In this five-workshop series, we will use theatre and storytelling to talk about, learn about and think about youth mental health.
What will the workshops involve?
Story circles and group reflection
Playful warm-ups engaging body and mind
Improvising skits together
Building narratives, characters and scenes
