Hello Arvinder
Arvinder is a rapid transformational therapist (RTT) who specializes in identifying how, where, and when unhelpful beliefs and behaviours were formed to support clients with understanding the root cause of issues. Clients will achieve profound self-awareness and clarity, enabling them to break free from limiting patterns and embrace a healthier, more fulfilling life."
Hello Arvinder
Why did you get involved in Counselling as a career path and means of support ?
Covid lockdown was a fascinating time. I had a stressful career in the medical industry and children at home. This was a perfect time to for me to pursue something close to my heart. I’d always considered becoming a therapist and eliminating the root cause of issues using hypnotherapy made complete sense to me. So many family and friends needed help with mental wellness and I decided I needed the qualifications to help them.
What's your cultural background and what makes it stand out ?
My parents are Punjabi and they moved to Kenya, from India. They then fled Uganda during Idi Amin’s dictatorship to start a new life. I was born in London and lived my life there before I moved to Australia. I appreciate the exposure to every culture and this enables me to help my clients honour and celebrate their cultural differences and help them change their narrative to culturally enough.
What sort of individual challenges can you best support for clients ?
RTT rapidly and permanently removes limiting beliefs and habits often acquired in childhood. By exploring with the client, how, where and when they acquired these beliefs, I then help each client understand and reframe the beliefs that hurt them and hold them back in living a productive, happier life. This is where it differs from ‘talk therapy’, instead, offering a rapid transformation. I work in the area of childhood trauma which affects self-esteem, self-confidence, self- worth and self-love. In many cases, these cn lead to anxiety depression. I also work with success blocks, self-sabotage, fear, phobias and addictions.

What are your areas of expertise and is there anything else you want to branch out into later ?
RTT is different from standard hypnotherapy because it uses hypnosis to find the root cause of the client’s issue. Once clients understand how and when negative beliefs and behaviours were formed, they feel empowered to make real, lasting change. My expertise lies in using RTT to help clients understand that they were born good enough and they are good enough just the way they are now, and to help them understand that they are here for a reason, that they are loved, a unique one of a kind creation and incredibly loved.
Something Fun !
What's the last show you watched / currently watching ?
Bridgerton!
